LADIES 5 HOLE MONDAY OR THURSDAY EVENING LEAGUE WITH LESSONS 2008

Are you looking to learn or improve your golf game, play a few holes and be with your friends?

Muskego Lakes CC is providing a ten week, 5 hole golf league for ladies only. This is your chance to learn the game and play a little golf without the worry of being pushed by other golfers behind you. The listed fee below includes your golf, lessons, and a golf cart.

You may select to play on either Monday or Thursday evenings starting June 2nd or June 5^th. League play will conclude the week of August 11^th and 14^thunless there are make up day due to rain outs. Registration is on a first-come first-serve basis for 64 ladies on Mondays or 32 ladies on Thursdays. The lesson time begins at 5:15pm and concludes at 6:15pm. To insure that all will have the ability to play a minimum of 5 holes we will have a shotgun start (everybody starts on a different hole at the same time) on Mondays. On Thursdays we will start ½ of the players on the 1^st hole and ½ on the 10^th hole with four players per group. You may also choose who you play with each week. Ladies of all abilities are encouraged to register.

A change For 2008. We are asking those ladies that have played the game for a few years to please try sign up on Mondays, and those that have played little or not at all, to register for the smaller class on Thursdays. If your schedule does not permit this, please feel free to register for the day of your choice as we will try to pair you with your friends or people of the same ability.

Please remember, SPACE FOR THIS LEAGUE IS LIMITED to 64 ladies on Monday evening and 32 Thursday evening. Sending in the fee of $225 by December 15th, will insure you a spot and save $30. The fee covers the cost of lessons, range balls, golf and cart for 10 weeks.

LESSON SCHEDULE FOR 2008

Lessons begin promptly at 5:15

Tee times are at 6:16, 6:24, 6:32 & 6:40 off of both #1 & #10 for Thursday league and 6:15 for all players on Mondays.

JUNE 2 & 5 Lesson to cover “Grip, stance, ball position and basic turn.

Golf event will be a scramble. Always take the

best shot of the four until the ball is

holed out.

JUNE 9 & 12 Lesson to cover: Hand position, head position & shoulder angle.

JUNE 16 & 19 Lesson to cover: How to make a proper turn.

JUNE 23 & 26 Lesson to cover: The role of the legs and feet on the back turn.

JUNE 30 & 7-3 NO LESSON: Please enjoy your 4th of July celebration.

JULY 7 & 10 Lesson to cover: The role of the legs and feet during the forward turn.

JULY 14 & 17 No lesson, Kaz and Jim on the course with you. Be here at 6pm

JULY 21 & 24. Lesson to cover: How to chip and putt.

AUGUST 4 & 7 Lesson to cover: The half shot and bunker play.

Muskego Lakes Country Club has reserved this tee time strictly for YOU. Therefore, we must charge you for the full 10 weeks. If you are unable to make a play day, we will rain check that miss, but only once per half season (a total of 2 misses per full season). You will be allowed to let a substitute play in your place in leu of a rain check. It is up to you to collect from your substitute if you wish.

Please remember the Get Acquainted/Informational Meeting is being held on Thursday, May 22nd at 6PM. Free beer, soda & snacks will be served. Explanation of league activities, common golf terms and rules will be explained and discount coupons will be distributed at this time.
