This is a new event for 2008 that ties in with the PGA's "Family Golf Month" program.
If your family is comprised of two golfing adults and at least two golfing children under the age of 16 you are LUCKY. So, to make this event a success we have to make a few compensations. A maximum of two adults can play on a team. You can have grandma, grandpa, friend or neighbor be on the team or you can have three kids and one adult. All kids do not have to be from the same family, let your child invite one of his golfing buddies to play on the team. It is all for fun anyways.
We will set up shorter holes for younger kids so their tee shots have the chance to end up at least as far as the adults.
The format is a scramble. Meaning you are always taking the best shot of the 4 some. This makes it more fun for the kids and should keep play moving.
COST is $9 per person that includes $2 pp for the prize fund. Many different prizes will be awarded besides those for low scores. If you wish a cart the cost is an extra $10 per cart.
START TIME is a shotgun start at 4pm.
Two dates available to play. Saturday, July 19 or Sunday July 13.
